The Battir Co-operative Society for Food Processing and Production is based in the hilly village of Battir on the outskirts of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. Due to its unique flora and fauna, Roman terraces and water springs, Battir was granted UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 2014.

The women's co-operative was started in 2015 and registered officially as a co-op in 2021. Its objective is to create an income for the women of Battir. There are 18-members, some of whom are growers, others who focus on food processing and sales. The food produced includes olive oil, honey, labaneh, za'atar, tomatoes - and the local speciality, Battiry aubergine. The growing is small-scale, organic and always in harmony min with the natural environment. The food is sold on markets and served in a local pop-up cafe.
